Making miles, being at sea for several days. Feeling like a real sailor.

For this sailing adventure, making miles takes centre stage! We cordially invite you to join us as a co-sailor and become part of our seaworthy crew. The Atlantis sets sail again in 2026, heading south. The popular milestone cruise is back on the programme!
On this extended cruise, we will cross the Kiel Canal, the North Sea, sail through the English Channel and across the Bay of Biscay until we reach our final destination, Cascais. On this trip, you will feel the temperature rise by a degree almost every day as we are heading south, and experience many different forms of the sea and sailing.
More information
We set sail with a clear course and a shared goal: reaching our destination together under sail. Shore leave and stopovers are part of the plan when the weather is kind and time allows. And should the wind take a break, our reliable engine ensures we stay on track.
On board, you’re more than just a guest – you’re part of the crew. Help us set the sails, stand night watch, or lend a hand with the tasks that come with life at sea. During the night, a sky full of constellations unfolds above you, far brighter than you’ve ever seen them on land.

Watch as bioluminescent algae light up the water like glowing brushstrokes, and with a bit of luck, dolphins may join us on our journey, their playful silhouettes sparkling in the moonlight. Even if the weather shows its wilder side, our professional galley team will spoil you with delicious meals. This voyage is all about authentic sailing and the raw beauty of nature.

Our route takes us along the English and French coasts, past the Channel Islands of Guernsey and Jersey, until we reach the dramatic western tip of France: Brest. Here, towering cliffs, crashing Atlantic waves and the impressive lighthouse of Pointe Saint-Mathieu await you. From there, we continue into the Bay of Biscay – a legendary body of water every sailor dreams of crossing at least once.

No matter how the winds guide us, one thing is certain: this journey will be unforgettable. Deep-blue waters, golden sunshine, star-filled skies, and the feeling of being a true sailor – part of a crew aboard a tall ship. Who hasn’t dreamed of that?

Possible stopovers: Harlingen, Guernsey, Brest

Note: Wind and weather can have a strong influence on the journey. We reserve the right to change the route in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Luggage list

  1. It is advised to travel with a travel bag instead of a hard suitcase, since it is better to stow.
  2. A passport, if you need it for the planned trip. Otherwise an identity card is sufficient. (Inform yourself in advance)
  3. Oilskins are not necessary, but a good rainproof jacket, rain trousers and sturdy shoes are always good. Be it for hiking, cycling or helping on deck.
  4. Don't forget sunglasses, a sun hat or cap and sun cream, even when the sun is not visible you can get quite burnt.
  5. A good book for a bit of solitude or a good parlour game to play together with your fellow sailors.
  6. A camera! So that you can capture your memories and share them with those at home.
  7. Cash, because here you can only pay your drinks bill in cash. But also think about the currency of the country you are travelling to so you can buy a souvenir.

Tips

Good to know: Would you like to travel alone and not share a cabin? Then you can book a single traveller supplement, which corresponds to the normal travel price + 50%.

Tip: Don't miss the opportunity to experience the train journey from Cascais to Lisbon. During the journey, you will be accompanied by fantastic views as the route runs along the Tagus River and along the coast. In Cascais itself, the railway station is located right in the heart of the city.
