  • Start harbour: Cascais near Lisbon, Portugal / Port of destination: Olbia, Italy
  • Price: from 1.250€ per person
  • Making miles in the Mediterranean, sailing for several days, experiencing the wonders of the sea like seeing fluorescent algae glow.

We invite you to become part of our seafaring crew on board as a co-sailor and support us with all the tasks that arise on board. You will have the opportunity to take on night watches together with a member of the crew and lend a hand with hoisting the sails. You will be enchanted by a starry sky that no place on land can offer. Here you have the opportunity to see constellations with your own eyes that you would otherwise only recognise from a map.
More information
The journey starts in Cascais and takes us through the Strait of Gibraltar, where you will possibly see fluorescent algae, a fascinating underwater spectacle. With a bit of luck, dolphins will accompany us at night, offering you a sparkling natural spectacle. Our professional crew will spoil you with culinary delights in all weathers and offer you a first-class service that defies all adversities.Together with us, you will experience pure sailing pleasure and unspoilt nature.

Our route takes us across the Mediterranean along the Balearic Islands, with possible stopovers in breathtaking bays and charming harbours. Between Corsica and Sardinia, we will sail through the Strait of Bonifacio to finally reach Olbia in Sardinia. If we make good progress and the wind is favourable, there is the possibility of stopping off in one of the beautiful bays. Perhaps we will visit Bonifacio or anchor in the enchanting surroundings of "La Maddalena". Our captain will check the current weather reports daily and plan the journey accordingly. Our fixed destination is Olbia, and possible stopovers may include Alicante, Sóller, Mahon and Bonifacio.

Sailing takes centre stage on the milemaker! We have a destination and know when we want to reach it. Shore excursions and stopovers are planned if the weather is in our favour and it fits in with our schedule. If the wind challenges us, we fall back on the motor.

We cannot make any firm promises, except that you will have a really great time on board.

Luggage list

  1. It is advised to travel with a travel bag instead of a hard suitcase, since it is better to stow.
  2. A passport, if you need it for the planned trip. Otherwise an identity card is sufficient. (Inform yourself in advance)
  3. Oilskins are not necessary, but a good rainproof jacket, rain trousers and sturdy shoes are always good. Be it for hiking, cycling or helping on deck.
  4. Don't forget sunglasses, a sun hat or cap and sun cream, even when the sun is not visible you can get quite burnt.
  5. A good book for a bit of solitude or a good parlour game to play together with your fellow sailors.
  6. A camera! So that you can capture your memories and share them with those at home.
  7. Cash, because here you can only pay your drinks bill in cash. But also think about the currency of the country you are travelling to so you can buy a souvenir.

Tips

Good to know: Would you like to travel alone and not share a cabin? Then you can book a single traveller supplement, which corresponds to the normal travel price + 50%.

Tip: Don't miss the opportunity to experience the train journey from Lisbon to Cascais. Cascais is just a stone's throw away from the capital city of Lisbon. The train from Cais do Sodré station in the centre of Lisbon runs along the picturesque coastal towns of the Tagus, with Cascais being the last stop on this route. This makes your journey relaxed and comfortable. After your first night in the lively harbour town of Cascais, we set sail the next morning for an exciting day of sailing on the high seas.
