Making miles in the Mediterranean, sailing for several days, experiencing the wonders of the sea like seeing fluorescent algae glow.

We invite you to become part of our seafaring crew on board as a co-sailor and support us with all the tasks that arise on board. You will have the opportunity to take on night watches together with a member of the crew and lend a hand with hoisting the sails. You will be enchanted by a starry sky that no place on land can offer. Here you have the opportunity to see constellations with your own eyes that you would otherwise only recognise from a map.
More information
Our voyage begins in the charming town of Cascais and leads us through the legendary Strait of Gibraltar – a true highlight of any sailing adventure. With a bit of luck, you’ll witness glowing bioluminescent plankton lighting up the sea at night, creating a magical underwater spectacle. Dolphins may join us along the way, dancing in the moonlight and adding an unforgettable touch to the experience. No matter the weather, our experienced crew will treat you to delicious meals and excellent service, so you can fully enjoy the essence of sailing and the beauty of the open sea.

From there, we continue into the Mediterranean, setting a course past the Balearic Islands, where picturesque bays and charming harbours await. Between Corsica and Sardinia, we pass through the impressive Strait of Bonifacio, and then turn northwards toward the Italian mainland. If the conditions are favourable and we make good progress, we may anchor in one of the region’s idyllic bays. Possible stopovers along the way include Bonifacio, the stunning “La Maddalena” archipelago, or ports such as Alicante, Sóller, Mahón, Bastia, or Elba. Our captain monitors the weather closely and plans the route day by day, ensuring that we make the most of every opportunity.

On our mile-building voyages, sailing is always at the heart of the experience. We have a clear destination and a set timeframe for reaching it. Shore excursions and stopovers are only planned when the weather allows and fit within our schedule. And if the wind decides not to cooperate, our reliable engine will keep us on course.

While we can’t make firm promises about the weather or the exact route, we can promise this: your time on board will be unforgettable – full of seamanship, adventure, and the true spirit of life under sail. Our journey concludes at the beautiful Tuscan port of Porto Santo Stefano, where steep hills meet the sea and the charm of the Italian coast welcomes us after an unforgettable passage.

Luggage list

  1. It is advised to travel with a travel bag instead of a hard suitcase, since it is better to stow.
  2. A passport, if you need it for the planned trip. Otherwise an identity card is sufficient. (Inform yourself in advance)
  3. Oilskins are not necessary, but a good rainproof jacket, rain trousers and sturdy shoes are always good. Be it for hiking, cycling or helping on deck.
  4. Don't forget sunglasses, a sun hat or cap and sun cream, even when the sun is not visible you can get quite burnt.
  5. A good book for a bit of solitude or a good parlour game to play together with your fellow sailors.
  6. A camera! So that you can capture your memories and share them with those at home.
  7. Cash, because here you can only pay your drinks bill in cash. But also think about the currency of the country you are travelling to so you can buy a souvenir.

Tips

Good to know: Would you like to travel alone and not share a cabin? Then you can book a single traveller supplement, which corresponds to the normal travel price + 50%.

Tip: Don't miss the opportunity to experience the train journey from Lisbon to Cascais. Cascais is just a stone's throw away from the capital city of Lisbon. The train from Cais do Sodré station in the centre of Lisbon runs along the picturesque coastal towns of the Tagus, with Cascais being the last stop on this route. This makes your journey relaxed and comfortable. After your first night in the lively harbour town of Cascais, we set sail the next morning for an exciting day of sailing on the high seas.
