Our sailing adventure around Zealand, Denmark’s largest island, takes us through scenic waters and along vibrant coastal towns. Where the wind leads us, we will go – perhaps to Copenhagen, Denmark’s lively capital, or to charming harbour towns rich in history and Scandinavian flair.
Along the way, we may discover quiet anchorages, small islands and impressive sailing routes. The days are filled with sailing, relaxing on deck, and taking in the ever-changing views of the Danish archipelago. Each port has its own character – from bustling city harbours to peaceful bays with a fairytale-like tranquility.
A unique voyage full of variety, where the rhythm of wind and sea sets the pace – just as it should be on a true tallship journey.

Luggage list

It is advised to travel with a travel bag instead of a hard suitcase, since it is better to stow.
A passport, if you need it for the planned trip. Otherwise an identity card is sufficient. (Inform yourself in advance)
Oilskins are not necessary, but a good rainproof jacket, rain trousers and sturdy shoes are always good. Be it for hiking, cycling or helping on deck.
Don't forget sunglasses, a sun hat or cap and sun cream, even when the sun is not visible you can get quite burnt.
A good book for a bit of solitude or a good parlour game to play together with your fellow sailors.
A camera! So that you can capture your memories and share them with those at home.
Cash, because here you can only pay your drinks bill in cash. But also think about the currency of the country you are travelling to so you can buy a souvenir.

Tips

Insider tip: Kiel is worth exploring on land too! A stroll along the Kiellinie promenade or a visit to the maritime museum will let you extend that holiday feeling just a little longer.
