The chalk cliffs of Mön and Copenhagen:
The plan is to visit the majestic Mön chalk cliffs, with their impressive nature and spectacular views, and then set sail for Copenhagen. This fascinating city awaits us with its historic canals, magnificent palaces and modern sights that combine both history and contemporary culture.

Possible alternatives: Aarhus, Aalborg or Gothenburg:
It might also be possible to head for Aarhus or Aalborg, two charming cities on the Danish coast that are known for their culture and sights. Aarhus impresses with its modern art galleries and historic buildings, while Aalborg delights with its cozy old town and inviting cafés. Alternatively, we could visit Gothenburg, a picturesque harbor city on the Swedish coast known for its architecture, canals and maritime flair.

Freedom of sailing
The exact route is determined by the conditions at sea, which makes this trip particularly exciting. Along the way, we enjoy the freedom of sailing and the beauty of nature.

Larvik
In good weather, we also pass the southern Norwegian town of Larvik, which combines history and nature in a wonderful way. Larvik has a special significance for us, as the tall ship Artemis was built here. In 2026, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of this impressive ship.

Oslofjord
We finally reach the Oslofjord, which awaits us with its rolling hills and beautiful bays. Once in Oslo, the cultural highlights of this vibrant city await us, from the impressive opera house to historical sites.

Luggage list

It is advised to travel with a travel bag instead of a hard suitcase, since it is better to stow.
A passport, if you need it for the planned trip. Otherwise an identity card is sufficient. (Inform yourself in advance)
Oilskins are not necessary, but a good rainproof jacket, rain trousers and sturdy shoes are always good. Be it for hiking, cycling or helping on deck.
Don't forget sunglasses, a sun hat or cap and sun cream, even when the sun is not visible you can get quite burnt.
A good book for a bit of solitude or a good parlour game to play together with your fellow sailors.
A camera! So that you can capture your memories and share them with those at home.
Cash, because here you can only pay your drinks bill in cash. But also think about the currency of the country you are travelling to so you can buy a souvenir.

Tips

Good to know: We have two types of cabins on the Antigua: the standard cabins with bunk beds, shower and toilet and the spacious comfort cabins with separate single beds, shower and toilet. There are therefore two different cabin prices on the Antigua. Would you like to travel alone and not share a cabin?Then you can book a single supplement, which corresponds to the normal cruise price + 50%.
