Harlingen: The perfect starting point for your trip
Embarkation is on Friday evening at 7 pm. During the day, it is worth visiting the town of Harlingen. You can of course leave your luggage on board beforehand. From the port of Harlingen, you can easily reach the center of the charming Frisian port town. Harlingen, also known as “Little Amsterdam”, impresses with its canals and historic warehouses. In the center, cozy stores and restaurants invite you to linger. Several museums also offer interesting insights.
Your sailing adventure begins
After embarking, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and get to know the crew and other guests. The captain will discuss the route and the weather forecast with you. The next morning it's “Cast off!” - Your sailing vacation begins. At the beginning of the trip, the ship sails across the Wadden Sea. A first stop is planned on one of the Dutch Wadden Islands, such as Terschelling or Texel. From there, the Antigua sails in a north-easterly direction. Sailing at sea is always an unforgettable experience. You are cordially invited to join the watch - voluntarily, of course!
Discover the impressive Heligoland
The aim is to visit the impressive Heligoland with its fascinating nature, the red rocks and the famous Lange Anna. Enjoy relaxing walks, fresh sea air and the variety of seabirds - an unforgettable experience.
Arrival in Hamburg: farewell and harbor birthday
On Wednesday, the Antigua sails up the Elbe estuary. It is always an impressive experience to sail into one of the world's largest ports on a tall ship. On arrival, there are certainly many other tallships to admire. On Thursday morning, after breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to the crew and your fellow sailors. Perhaps you will stay a little longer in Hamburg to enjoy the Hamburg Harbour Birthdays.
