Open Ship & Onthulling Boegbeeld – Vier het jubileum van de Artemis!
Op zaterdag 4 juli opent de honderdjarige bark Artemis haar gangway voor bezoekers tijdens Open Ship. Tussen 10.00 en 16.30 uur ben je van harte welkom aan boord om een kijkje te nemen op een van de meest bijzondere tallships van Nederland.
Ontmoet de bemanning, ontdek hoe het leven aan boord eruitziet en maak kennis met de rijke geschiedenis van een schip dat in de afgelopen honderd jaar meerdere levens heeft gekend. Aan boord zijn foto's, verhalen en historische beelden te zien die de ontwikkeling van de Artemis door de jaren heen laten zien.
Ook is het jubileumboek Staal en Vertrouwen verkrijgbaar: een rijk geïllustreerd boek vol verhalen, interviews, anekdotes en foto's over 100 jaar Artemis en 35 jaar Tallship Company.
Blijf vooral hangen, want om 17.30 uur volgt een bijzonder moment: de officiële onthulling van het nieuwe boegbeeld van de Artemis. Een onthulling die nauw verbonden is met de geschiedenis van het schip en die je niet wilt missen.

Open Ship & Figurehead Unveiling – Celebrate 100 Years of Artemis!
On Saturday, July 4, the centenary bark Artemis welcomes visitors on board during Open Ship. From 10:00 to 16:30, you are invited to explore one of the most remarkable tall ships in the Netherlands.
Meet the crew, discover life on board, and learn about the fascinating history of a ship that has lived many different lives over the past century. Historic photographs, stories and displays will bring the journey of Artemis to life.
Visitors can also purchase the anniversary book Steel and Trust, a richly illustrated publication featuring stories, interviews, photographs and anecdotes from 100 years of Artemis and 35 years of Tallship Company.
And don't leave too early! At 17:30, a special highlight awaits: the official unveiling of the new figurehead of Artemis. Closely connected to the ship's remarkable history, this will be a memorable moment of the anniversary celebrations.
