"Our South Seas" is what the Danish lovingly call the enchanting mix of endless sandy beaches, sparkling white chalk cliffs, countless islands and small ports with colorful houses in the South of Denmark. With the Bark Artemis you're about to explore this beautiful world.

The crew preference is to sail around Zeeland with you, wind and weather permitting, and visit Copenhagen. This is your chance to discover one of the most impressive cultural centers in Europe with, for example, a visit to the Amalienborg Palace, the "Little Mermaid" or a walk through the Nyhavn with its beautiful gabled houses and numerous restaurants.

Along the way we also hope to visit Samsø, also called the sunny island by the Danes, which has a very special charm. On our preffered route to Rostock we'll find the famous chalk cliffs of Møns Klint, the highest cliffs in Denmark, and also one of the most famous and spectacular natural phenomena of the Danish Baltic Sea.

Wind and weather can influence the voyage.

Artemis

A journy aboard the Artemis gives you the opportunity to experience the beautiful history of sailing. Above decks you’ll be contiously amazed by the impressive rigging of the three master, the ropes, the pin rails, the rigging gear and the manpower to set the ship assail. Everything exudes a historic atmosphere which dates back tot 1926 when the ship was built in Norway for whale hunting.

The same maritime character contiues inside the ship. The Artemis has a stylish timber paneled salon with a typical ship bar and 2nd salon above decks with lovely sea views. The 16 comfortable cabins are finished in mahogany.
