Position Head of Service-Tallship Artemis
WE, the Tallship Company, are a Dutch shipping company with four historic and luxurious sailing ships: Artemis, Atlantis, Antigua . Our ships sail all over Europe, e.g. North and Baltic Seas, Irish Sea and Norwegian Sea.
Our ships are booked by our customers for maritime events and day trips for up to 140 guests as well as holiday trips lasting several days for up to 32-36 guests. We offer our guests high quality service and good catering in a unique atmosphere.
YOU, looking for an adventurous job, are service-oriented and enjoy dealing with a wide variety of people. You are friendly and like to lend a hand. You will find it a challenge not only to work but also to live on board our ships during the season.
For next season (2025) we are looking for A motivated Head of Service / Steward(ess) for Tallship Artemis.
With the ambition to grow in our company! Start season on 12-5-2025 till the end of September.
Responisbilities:
- Welcome the guests on board
- Purchasing and stock management (together with chef)
- Cash management
- Serving and presenting meals on board
- Kitchen support
- Bar service
- An open ear for the wishes of the guests
Requirements:
- Experience in catering
- Passion for your job
- Willingness to take responsibility and be flexible
- Resilience and team spirit
- Language skills in English and/or German
